Vanessa Evans (Lic.Ac MBAcC)
Hi, I'm Vanessa, a Walthamstow based Acupuncturist. I came to acupuncture in my early 20s looking for solutions to why I felt so out of balance and fell in love with the philosophy of this medicine that sees the interconnectedness of our world. My aim is to create a space where the principles of this ancient medicine make sense alongside our modern lifestyles.
I have a special interest in chronic conditions (pain, digestive, sleep, emotional) and women’s health, fertility, IVF and pregnancy. Acupuncture is about so much more than just needles. Your session is a space for you to relax, to speak freely and feel supported in taking control of your health. I place a great deal of importance on simple lifestyle shifts with diet, movement and self awareness so that your appointment extends far beyond our meeting.
I have completed a 3 year degree licentiate with the City College of Acupuncture, a school accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board, training under some of the UK’s leading acupuncturists. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), and abide by a code of ethics which maintains high standards of education, discipline and practice. I also hold a level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills with an emphasis on listening and non judgemental skills.
